Wilson stays hot in Panthers' win over Red Sox

KITCHENER -- Two days after going deep twice and driving in eight, Kitchener's Liam Wilson homered again and had two RBI in the Panthers' 8-4 win over Brantford Tuesday night at Jack Couch Park. 

Stephen Whalen also drove in two, while Jason Kauffeldt went 4-for-4 and Lucas Diluca added two hits and two runs. Jett Jarvis and Evyn Sherman knocked in the Panthers' other runs.

Adam Robertson (1-1) picked up the win in three innings of relief. He gave up two runs on two hits, walking two and striking out one. Ryan Douglas started and allowed two runs on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts. 

Kitchener moved to 2-1. 

Gianfranco Morello and Nic Burdett each drove in a run and scored for the Red Sox (1-5). Robbie Gauthier and Spencer Voisin added an RBI apiece. Jacob Reid had two of Brantford's seven hits. 

Mile Mueller (0-1) took the loss, giving up five runs (four earned) on five hits with three walks and three strikeouts in four innings.
