Shapiro Signs with Hamilton

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Cardinals are pleased to announce the signing of Caden Shapiro. Caden is a dual threat as a left-handed pitcher and plays OF/1B. Shapiro spent the last 2 summers playing for the Toronto Mets elite program and participated in the Toronto Blue Jays hosted T-12 tournament. Shapiro has committed to Princeton for the fall of 2021.

Caden has the tools to compete in the IBL even as an 18-year-old. This is a great opportunity for him to learn and grow as a player at the highest level against veteran competition. I look forward to helping him mature and grow," states Hamilton Cardinal GM Jeff Lounsbury.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Cardinals organization this summer. Grateful for the opportunity to play in the IBL and I look forward to competing” said Shapiro
