Seven-run seventh separates Majors from Red Sox

LONDON -- London's seven-run seventh was the difference in a 10-3 win over Brantford Friday night at Labatt Park. 

Evan Britt and Keith Kandel each had a pair of hits and two RBI in the victory. Austin Wilkie went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs, Adam Filmon drove in a run and scored twice, Hayden Jaco had three hits, two runs and an RBI, Carlos Arteaga singled, doubled and drove in a run, and Cleveland Brownlee added an RBI. 

Pedro De Los Santos (7-2) picked up the win. He gave up a run on seven hits with two walks and seven strikeouts over seven innings. 

Mackenzie Major (1-4) took the loss, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 12 hits over 6.1 innings. He walked two and fanned four. 

Offensively, Nick Burdett homered and drove in two. Jason Pineda drove in a run, and Liam Sutherland went 3-for-4 and scored once. 

London, which has clinched first, improved to 20-8, and seventh-place Brantford fell to 11-18.
