Sandford and Rosado - Rawlings IBL POTM for August

Today, the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) announced their Rawlings Player & Pitcher of the Month for August.  

Jake Sanford of the Welland Jackfish is the August Player of the Month batting .459 in August with 3 home runs and 1.319 OPS.   The native of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia finished atop the IBL regular season with a.393 batting average.

Cesar Rosado of the Barrie Baycats takes home the Pitcher of the Month honors for August with a dominating 2-0 Record, a 1.13 ERA, and an incredible 30 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched.   The Dominican Native led the IBL with 105 strikeouts in the regular season.
