Sam Cawker Honored As June Intercounty League Player of the Month

The Intercounty Baseball League announced today that Welland Catcher Sam Cawker has been named the League's Player of the Month for June. Cawker will be presented with an award from the IBL in recognition of his outstanding performance last month.

Sam Cawker hit .395 during June with a home run and 14 RBI to help keep his Welland Jackfish near the top of the standings. In addition, Sam recorded 6 doubles, 10 walks, and 5 stolen bases.
