Ruiz a major factor in London's win over Red Sox

LONDON -- Humberto Ruiz did it all Saturday night at Labatt Park. 

The London Majors' left-fielder went 4-for-4 with three singles, a double, four RBI, a run and a stolen base in the team's 10-4 win over the Brantford Red Sox. Carlos Arteaga singled, doubled and drove in two, Byron Reichstein had a pair of hits and two RBI, Adam Filmon went 2-for-3 with two runs, and Chris McQueen scored three times. 

Pedro De Los Santos ran his record to 5-0 after giving up two runs (one earned) over eight innings, which dropped his earned-run average to 0.68. He scattered four hits, walking three and striking out eight. 

Jacob English (0-1) took the loss for Brantford. He was lifted with one out in the fourth after giving up nine runs on eight hits with four walks and two strikeouts. 

Gianfranco Morello had two hits and an RBI for the Red Sox. Colton Fountain and Jacob Reid drove in the other runs.  

First-place London improved to 10-3, and last-place Brantford dropped to 4-10.
