The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) announced its B45 Baseball Players of the Week for the week of June 19-25.

Barrie Baycats designated hitter Ryan Rijo (Barrie, Ont.) was named Batter of the Week, following a monstrous 7-for-11 (.636) week in which he hit two home runs and drove in 13 RBI.

A sixth-year veteran, Rijo has played a powerful part in the Baycats' seven-game winning streak; the former Philadelphia Phillies draft pick sits second in the IBL in both batting average (.426) and RBI (27) this season.

Kitchener Panthers right-hander Jordan Bahnuk (Woodstock, Ont.) was named Pitcher of the Week, following two shutout relief appearances in a pair of Panthers victories.

Bahnuk, a Southwestern Christian alumnus, struck out four hitters over 2.1 innings of work during the week — and earned the save in Kitchener's 8-5 win at Guelph on Sunday.
