Righty Skylar Janisse Joins Cardinals

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Cardinals, members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) are pleased to announce the signing of Right Handed Pitcher, Skylar Janisse (Maidstone, ON).

Janisse was drafted in the 34th round of the 2011 MLB amateur draft by the New York Yankees. Janisse decided to continue his education and finished his senior year at Oklahoma City College with a 6-4 record, 3.46 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 67.2 Innings. Janisse has spent the last 4 years playing Independent Pro ball with a career record of 15-9 with 216 strikeouts in 241.2 innings. Last season Janisse pitched for Vallejo Admirals of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball League.
