Pena does it all in Majors' win

TORONTO – Ismael Pena homered and drove in two before recording the last four outs for the save in the London Majors' 6-5 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Sunday afternoon at Christie Pits.

Pena also doubled, and his fifth home run of the season is tied for the Intercounty Baseball League lead. On the mound, Pena allowed an unearned run and struck out a batter to pick up his first save.

Owen Boon (1-0) started and went 7.2 innings, giving up four runs on six hits with four walks and four strikeouts.

Byron Reichstein hit a solo home run, Carlos Arteaga had an RBI and scored, Cleveland Brownlee drove in a run, and Chris Chambers had two hits and an RBI.

London improved to 4-9.

For Toronto (5-8), Cooper Lamb went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Grant Tamane and Daniel Szpik drove in the other runs.

Diego Dominguez (0-2) took the loss, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits in seven innings. He walked four and struck out five.
