KITCHENER – After consecutive losses in which they allowed 42 runs, the Kitchener Panthers righted the ship, for one game at least, Monday night with a 9-4 win over Brantford at Jack Couch Park.

Christian Hauck (3-2) struck out eight over six innings for the win. He allowed a run on five hits and walked six.

Offensively, two of Evan Martin’s four hits were solo home runs. Liam Wilson homered and drove in three, while Andy Leader also had three RBI. Jett Jarvis drove in a run and scored and Blake Jacklin went 2-for-4 with two runs as Kitchener moved to 9-15.

Jesse Fishbaum went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run for the Red Sox (1-21). Nick Burdett homered and drove in two, while Nolan Gallagher scored twice.

Bennett Moore (0-6) suffered the loss, giving up seven runs (six earned) on five hits over three innings. He walked four and struck out one.
