Panthers defeat Cardinals, 10-7
KITCHENER - The Kitchener Panthers scored six runs in the sixth inning to break open a close game and defeat the Hamilton Cardinals 10-7 Sunday afternoon in Kitchener.
Yorbis Borroto continues to swing a hot bat since arriving with three hits, inclueeding his third home run. He drove in five runs and raised his batting average to .426. Jeff Hunt had four hits and stole two bases. Brian Burton also homer for the Panthers who are now 15-5.
Chris Beer had three hits for the Cards, including a pair of doubles. Justin Gideon, Grant Arnold and Connor Patterson all homered for Hamilton, which slipped under .500 to 8-9.
Jasvir Rakkar got the win in relief for Kitchener while Tanner Guindon took the loss in just 1/3 of an inning of relief.
