Marra mashes as Leafs hand Majors first loss

TORONTO -- Justin Marra homered and drove in three to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 5-4 win Sunday over the previously-unbeaten London Majors. 

Marra walked in the third inning at Christie Pits with the bases loaded to pull the Leafs (3-2) even at the time, then added a two-run blast in the seventh to break a 3-3 tie. Garret Takamatsu went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Sean Reilly added two hits and drove in a run. 

Marek Deska gave up a run on two hits with four strikeouts in three innings of relief for the win. Johnathan Solazzo picked up a two-inning save, giving up a run on two hits with a strikeout. Mateos Kekatos started and struck out eight over four innings, giving up two runs on six hits while walking one. 

Byron Reichstein led London (4-1) with three hits and three RBI, while Chris McQueen went 4-for-5 and scored three times. Julian Johnson added a pair of hits. 

Jarryd Lund took the loss, giving up two runs on four hits with two walks and a strikeout in three innings. Starter Hayden Jaco went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits with four walks and two strikeouts.
