Majors walk-off Red Sox

LONDON – Eduardo De Oleo singled home Kaiden Cardoso in the bottom of the ninth to give London a 3-2 win over Brantford on Friday night at Labatt Park.

Tristan Osika hit a two-run home run in the third inning for the Majors (14-6), who made the most of five hits.

Jonathan Henry (1-1) earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. He took over from Victor Payano, who allowed two runs on 10 hits over seven innings. He walked one and struck out nine.

Gus Wilson and Graham Tebbit each had two hits and an RBI for the Red Sox (8-14). Nick Burdett went 3-for-3 with a run and Ethan Paulos singled twice. Aidan Armitage took the loss. He was charged with the winning run in one-third of an inning, walking two and striking out one. Josh Laukkanen started and went eight innings, allowing two runs on four hits with a walk and 12 strikeouts.
