Majors Sign Duforest for 2019 Season

LONDON - The London Majors, members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) are pleased to announce the signing of Kirkland, Quebec native Jonathan Duforest.

The 5’10” utility player brings great experience to the Majors after playing for the McGill University and Les Aigles de Trois-Rivieres. Last season while playing for McGill Jonathan hit for an average of .338 and 9 RBIs. Duforest has also represented France in multiple international events such as the 2016 World Baseball qualifiers and the European Championship twice.

The London Majors are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
