Majors Sign Catcher Thibodeau for 2019

LONDON - The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of Burlington Ontario native, catcher Jonathan Thibodeau.

The 5’11” sophomore catcher is currently attending and playing baseball at University of West Alabama. In 2018 he hit 0.241 while starting 19 of 25 games. Last summer (2018) Jonathan played with the Burlington Herd Jr. Team and also payed in 6 IBL games with the Senior Team. In 2017 Jonathan played for the Derby Twins in the Jayhawk Collegiate league, playing a part of a team which advance to the National Baseball Conference World Series tournament by hitting .362 with an on base percentage of .574.

“I’m very excited to add a young player like Jonathan Thibodeau to our team,” Roop Chanderdat, London Majors Co-Owner, GM and Field Manager said. "He played a couple games against us last year and looked very good and he will add to our depth at the catchers position.”

The London Majors are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League.
