Majors score four in 11th to beat Cards

HAMILTON – The London Majors scored four times in the top of the 11th to beat the Hamilton Cardinals 5-1 Tuesday night at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium.

Ismael Pena and Byron Reichstein each drove in a run and scored once. Bryan Lizardo had the other RBI. Jonathan Thibodeau had two of London's nine hits.

Owen Boon (2-1) threw two scoreless innings for the win. He walked one and struck out five.

Juliandry Higuera started and went nine innings, giving up a run on five hits with three walks and 13 strikeouts.

Tanner Guindon (1-1) took the loss, giving up three hits and four unearned runs in one inning thanks to a pair of errors. Starter Clay Miller went six scoreless innings, giving up three hits with four walks and eight strikeouts.

Offensively, Grant Arnold had the lone RBI and Connor Patterson singled twice.

London improved to 7-10, and Hamilton dropped to 6-5.
