Majors Keep Pace with Welland

BRANTFORD - London Majors jumped out to a 7-1 lead enroute to a 12-6 victory over the Brantford Red Sox at Arnold Anderson Stadium Saturday night.
Daniel Perrier led the Majors with a 4-for-4 night including a grand slam home run in the sixth inning. He also scored twice and had five RBI's. Robert Mullen added three hits including two doubles and two RBI's with Jakob Newton adding two singles.
Brodie Mackay had three hits for Brantford including a run scoring double with Jamiel Orozco adding two singles. Pedro de los Santos (3-2) picked up the win for London, going six innings and allowing three runs on seven hits with only one walk and nine strikeouts. Fernando Fernandez pitched the final two innings in relief, striking out all six Red Sox to face him.
Brantford starter Kendri Salvadore (0-2) went six innings allowing seven runs on eight hits while walking two and striking out two.
London improved to 21-8 and Brantford fell to 2-27.
