Majors hammer Cardinals

HAMILTON – Robert Mullen went 4-for-4 with a solo home run as the London Majors beat Hamilton 10-3 Sunday afternoon at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium.


Daniel Perrier had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI, Austin Wilkie went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, Jakob Newton drove in two, Cleveland Brownlee singled four times and drove in a pair of runs and Andrew Lawrence scored twice.

Owen Boon (7-0) struck out nine over six scoreless innings. He yielded a pair of Cards’ hits.


London improved to 22-8.

For Hamilton (6-24), Tyler Duncan went 2-for-4 with solo blast. Jeremie Veilleux added an RBI double.


Sam Turcotte took the loss, giving up nine runs (eight earned) on 11 hits over four innings. He walked three and fanned five.
