Majors edge Barnstormers
CHATHAM – Starling Joseph’s RBI double in the third inning ended up being the difference in London’s 4-3 win Tuesday in Chatham.
Joseph also singled and drove in another run for the Majors (11-5). Kaiden Cardoso and Byron Reichstein each had an RBI in London’s three-run third. Gibson Krzeminski went 3-for-4.
On the mound, Jose Arias (3-3) fanned five over seven innings. He allowed two runs on eight hits and walked one. Jonathan Henry struck out one of the four batters he faced for his first save of 2024.
Chatham’s Seth Strong went 3-for-4 with his ninth home run and 21st and 22nd RBI to lead the IBL in both categories. Spencer Marcus singled twice.
Barnstormers’ pitcher Aden Ryan (1-3) took the loss, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits over three innings. He walked three and struck out one.
Chatham-Kent fell to 6-12
