Majors cruise to win in Hamilton

HAMILTON – London raced out to a 10-run lead through two innings and went on to beat Hamilton 13-2 Sunday afternoon at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium.
Daniel Perrier had four hits, including two home runs, and drove in six for the Majors (12-5). Robert Mullen and Starling Joseph each had two hits and an RBI and combined to score three times. Cleveland Brownlee drove in two, Andrew Lawrence went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, Keith Kandel drove in a run and Chris McQueen singled and doubled.
Jose Arias (5-0) dominated for six scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out 11.
For Hamilton (4-12), Tyler Duncan and Josh Niles each went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Niles also connected for his fourth home run.
Sam Turcotte (0-2) allowed 10 runs on 12 hits with a walk over two innings.
