Majors Bolster Bullpen with Local Signings

LONDON - The London Majors have bolstered their bullpen for the 2019 Season adding two young right handers, Matthew Balkwill and Sean Hood-Tidman.

Balkwill is a 6’2”, 185 lbs pitcher from Chatham ON. He has played on the Brock Badgers University Baseball Team for the past 4 years. This year he was the closer for the Badgers. During the summer he as played for Chatham as well as the Windsor Selects 18U Team. Matthew is the brother of former London Majors catcher Larry Balkwill.

Hood-Tidman is 6’2”, 190 lbs pitcher from Stratford ON. Sean attended and pitched for Western Nebraska Community College (NJCAA Division 1) on a baseball scholarship during the 2015-2016 Season. He also played for the Ontario Nationals 16U, 17U and 18U teams from 2013-2015 and for the Stratford Junior Nationals from 2016-2018.
