Majors blow out Red Sox late

BRANTFORD – The London Majors blew open a close game with 11 runs over the last two innings on their way to a 14-0 win over the Brantford Red Sox Wednesday night at Arnold Anderson Stadium.
Cleveland Brownlee went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs, and Mike Ambrose homered as part of a four-hit game to go along with four RBI and two runs. Carlos Arteaga singled and scored twice, Yuki Yasuda had two hits, two runs and three RBI, Ismael Pena went 3-for-6 and drove in two, Jonathan Thibodeau picked up three hits, an RBI and scored three times, and Jonathan Duforest plated a pair of runs.
Migel Burgos (3-2) threw eight shutout innings, scattering two hits with a walk and 10 punchouts.
Anthony Rizquez had two of Brantford's three hits. Chris Iltshishin had the other.
Victor Mueses (0-5) took the loss, allowing a run on two hits over five innings. He walked six and struck out nine.
London (11-10) won its fifth straight, and Brantford (1-17) dropped its 17th straight.
