Majors add NCAA utility Krzeminski

LONDON - The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of utility player Gibson Krzeminski.

Krzeminski, 23, is currently a graduate student at Canisius (NCAA D1) where he is completing his fifth and final season of college baseball, as he will join the Majors following the completion of this season with the Griffs.

The Tecumseh, Ontario, native brings a lot of versatility to the Majors as he can play all infield and outfield positions. The switch-hitter spent two seasons at Iowa Western after transferring from West Virginia, where he redshirted his freshman year. The 5-11, 201 lb. player hit .368 during his Reivers career, driving in 63 RBI and scoring 70 runs while getting on base at a .482 clip while earning Academic All-Region honours in both 2018 and 2019 at Iowa Western. He also hit five home runs and batted .402 in 2019 en route to helping Iowa Western reach the JUCO D1 World Series championship game, recording a .522 average in six games at the World Series.

“Krzeminski is another versatile player that can play multiple positions. Gibby has been a solid hitter throughout his collegiate career and this trend should continue in the IBL with the Majors”, says Roop Chanderdat, GM & Field Manager.

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021 the London Majors won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
