Majors Add Key Bullpen Piece

London, Ontario - The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of left-handed pitcher Pedro De Los Santos.

The 31-year-old is no stranger to the IBL as he pitched for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2017-2019 accumulating 98.2 innings over that time and 97 strikeouts. Not only a 3-year veteran, De Los Santos also has international experience while with the Dominican Republic national team in 2019.

Pedro was very thrilled when talking about coming to the Majors for the 2021 season "I am really excited to play for Roop and the London Majors. They run a professional organization and I am looking forward to pitching at Labatt Park."

Co-Owner, Manager and General Manager Roop Chanderdat was happy to discuss the dynamic pitcher “Pedro is a veteran pitcher with IBL experience that will be an asset to our bullpen. He is a pitcher that keeps you off balance and can fill roles both in long relief and save type situations”

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
