London's Janisse named Closer of the Year

London’s Skylar Janisse was named the Intercounty Baseball League's Closer of the Year.
The 32-year-old right-hander racked up 12 saves in 2025, his first season as Majors’ closer. Janisse went 5-1 with a team-best 2.48 earned-run average in his third campaign in London. He struck out 36 and walked 12 in 29 innings and held opposing hitters to a .200 average.
The Rookie of the Year will be announced on Monday, Sept. 22.
