Krzeminski sparks Majors’ win
LONDON – Gibson Krzeminski was busy atop the London Majors’ lineup on Friday.
The switch-hitter from Tecumseh went 3-for-4 and drove in three in London’s 6-2 win over Guelph at Labatt Park. Then he added his first two stolen bases of the season as the Majors improved to 15-9.
Starling Joseph hit a solo home run in the win, while Kaiden Cardoso and Ty Mosher each had an RBI at the bottom of the lineup.
Braeden Ferrington (2-0) went 5.2 innings for the win, allowing two runs on four hits. He struck out two.
J.D. Williams and Ethan Hammond drove in runs for Guelph (12-10). Garrett Takamatsu had two hits and scored a run. Hector Yan suffered the loss on the mound after giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits over five innings. He walked two and fanned four.
