Knecht, Reilly go deep as Leafs double Cards

HAMILTON -- Marcus Knecht and Sean Reilly each went deep in Toronto's 4-2 win in Hamilton Friday night. 

Knecht's solo blast was his fifth longball of the season. He added two singles. Reilly's home run, his second of the campaign, also came with the bases empty. Jordan Castaldo went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run atop the Leafs' lineup. 

Marek Deska (3-0) allowed a run on three hits over 5.1 innings for the win. He walked two and struck out five. Dustin Richardson struck out two in a pair of scoreless, two-hit innings for his first save. 

Laine Renaud drove in both Cardinals' runs with a two-run double in the sixth. Jordan Young added a pair of singles. 

Gabe Bruan (1-1) took the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits over four innings. He walked four and struck out four. 

Third-place Toronto moved to 11-9, and sixth-place Hamilton fell to 9-12.
