Jackfish take part in Annual Toy Drive in support of Welland Toy Drive

WELLAND - The Welland Jackfish are proud to once again partner with the Welland Professional Firefighters Association for their annual Welland Toy Drive, helping bring joy to children in need across the Niagara Region. The Jackfish will be collecting new, unwrapped toys which will be handed out to children in need on Christmas Day.
This year's Toy Drive runs through Sunday, December 14, with a festive campaign event planned for the A Very Jackfish Christmas Party on Friday, December 6.
"Every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas," said Jackfish President Ryan Harrison. "We're thrilled to continue the Jackfish partnership with the Welland Toy Drive. The generosity we saw last year from our fans and community was incredible, and we're excited to make an even bigger impact this year."
Welland Stadium will be open for drop-off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. To drop off toys, fans should visit the main office (located at the main gates). Every individual who makes a contribution will receive a pair of 2026 flex tickets that can be redeemed for tickets to any 2026 Welland Jackfish home game.
The Jackfish are proud to partner with the WPFFA, Bilt Fitness, and Canadian Tire Welland to make this possible.
“We’re proud of this long-standing holiday tradition we share with great local partners like the Welland Jackfish, Canadian Tire Welland and Bilt Fitness," said Joel Myers, WPFAA. "Collecting toys and books brings so much joy to children in our community during the holiday season. Together, we can ensure that every child experiences the magic of Christmas.”
Fans can also bring toys to the Jackfish Holiday Party on Friday, December 5.
