Intercounty Baseball League Launches IBL Mobile App

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) is excited to announce the launch of its official app, now already available for iOS on the Apple App Store and soon to be available on the Google Play Store for Android devices.

“The IBL set several attendance records last season and our fanbase is growing at rapid pace.  Delivering a high-quality mobile App that will enhance our fans’ ability to follow their favourite teams was a major priority for 2024 and we are thrilled with the result”, said IBL Commissioner, Ted Kalnins.

Fans will now have a direct gateway to league news, live game broadcasts, scores and statistics.  The IBL App also provides a streamlined experience for purchasing tickets and official team merchandise, alongside real-time updates on league happenings.

The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) is the top independent baseball league in Canada, boasting ex-MLB, MiLB and elite NCAA college baseball players, including players from the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Panama and Japan.  The 2024 season will mark the IBL’s 106th year in operation. The IBL is one of the longest continuously operated baseball leagues in the world and serves as a valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff.  More than 40 IBL players have advanced to Major League Baseball or returned to the IBL following their MLB careers.  The league is comprised of teams from Barrie, Brantford, Chatham-Kent, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Toronto and Welland.  For more information, visit www.theibl.ca or @ibl1919 on Instagram and Twitter.
