IBL Mourns the Loss of Cardinals Larry Wood

Larry Wood wrote the book on the Cardinal way of baseball in Hamilton.

Within the Intercounty Baseball League, Larry was often considered the voice of reason with his knowledge and expertise extending through ownership changes with the Hamilton franchise for well over the past 17 years.

Within the Cardinals family, Larry was the backbone of the organization, never seeking the spotlight his efforts merited.

Always a player's or staff member's biggest supporter. He was fair, compassionate, and never afraid to get his hands dirty to help.

He was instrumental in founding the Hamilton Cardinals Baseball Association in 2008 and the Hamilton Cardinals Rep youth baseball programs keeping the game affordable and accessible to the youth in Hamilton.

In 2023, Larry was honored with a lifetime membership in Hamilton Cardinals Rep Baseball for his dedication and hard work to foster the game.

His   legacy extends to baseball players throughout the rep systems, the IBL, and even the Collegiate levels.

Our deepest condolences to Larry's family and friends during these difficult times.
