HRD Bat Co. Batter & Pitcher of the Week - June 9-15th
Record crowds packed stadiums across the Intercounty Baseball League this past weekend as teams celebrated Father’s Day and All Things Dad. Fans were treated to home runs, dominant pitching, unforgettable moments and two games that went into extras — making Week 5 one of the most exciting stretches of the 2025 season so far.

Batter of the Week: Matteo Porcellato – Welland Jackfish

Matteo Porcellato was a catalyst for the Welland offence this week, going 11-for-22 over five games. Porcellato combined speed, discipline, and contact hitting — including a standout 3-hit, 3-run night in Welland’s dominant 23–2 win over Kitchener.

Irvine delivered a composed start against the Guelph Royals. He limited base runners and attacked the zone efficiently, helping Brantford secure a 5-1 win and their return to the win column.
