Hinrikus leads Panthers past Red Sox

KITCHENER – Tyler Hinrikus went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI to lead the Kitchener Panthers to an 11-5 win over Brantford Sunday evening at Jack Couch Park.


Eric Martin homered and drove in two and Andy Leader added a solo home run as the Panthers moved to 11-16. Stephen Whalen drove in two, Kenny Di Clemente had two hits and scored three times, Jett Jarvis had an RBI and Liam Wilson and Keegan Marsden each picked up a pair of hits.


Tyler Lawrence went five innings on the mound for the win, allowing three earned runs on four hits with four walks.


Roger Keen had a solo home run for Brantford (2-24). Nick Burdett went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run, Colton Fountain and Spencer Jamieson each had an RBI and Jordan Young singled twice.
