Groening and Ortega Take Home HRD Bat Co Players of the Week Honors

As the calendar flipped into August, we were not short on outstanding performances around the league.

Batter of the Week - Andrew Groening - Chatham-Kent Barnstormers

The Blenheim native batted .455 last week (5 for 11), scoring 6 times with 2 HR, a double, and driving in 5 RBIs   , finishing with a 1.591 OPS.

to help his Welland Jackfish edge closer to the pennant.
