Foden drives in winner vs. Jackfish

WELLAND – Jake Foden's one-out single scored Grant Arnold in the bottom of the 10^th to give the Hamilton Cardinals a 3-2 win over the Welland Jackfish Thursday night.

Arnold went 2-for-2 with two runs and two walks, and Jake Chiaravalle had the other RBI.  

Zackary Gonzalez (0-2) allowed a run on five hits over six innings. He walked two and struck out four.

Kelvin Pichardo took the win, striking out five of six batters over two hitless innings.

Wilson Soriano had two hits for the Jackfish (9-9). Vaughn Bryan added an RBI.  

Casey Bouillere-Howard (0-2) took the loss, allowing a run on three hits over three innings. He walked three without a strikeout.
