Cast Your Votes for the 2024 IBL All-Star Showdown
The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), in partnership with the Welland Jackfish, is pleased to announce that online voting powered by VMF Sportswear is now open for fans to select the starting lineups for the 2024 IBL All-Star Showdown. Fans can vote for their favourite players: https://www.theibl.ca/vote until Friday July 5. The 2024 IBL All-Star Showdown is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th, at Welland Stadium, renowned for its outstanding sports entertainment in Niagara. Fans will account for 50% of the vote, while media members from every IBL city will account for the other 50%.
The day’s events begin at 2:00 PM with the 2024 Home Run Derby, showcasing the league’s top eight sluggers, presented by Rawlings Canada. Following the derby, fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite players at 3:30 PM, with live music on the Newark Party Barge enhancing the experience.
The main highlight, the 2024 IBL All-Star Game, will commence at 6:05 PM. The game will be followed by a dazzling fireworks display, with a post-game autograph session on the field to complete the evening.
