Boon goes seven scoreless in Majors' win

LONDON -- Owen Boon threw seven scoreless innings to lead London to a fourth straight win Friday night at Labatt Park. 

Boon (7-1) scattered four hits, walking six and striking out five in the 5-1 victory over Toronto. Offensively, Cleveland Brownlee went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs. Byron Reichstein went 2-for-4 with two runs, Carlos Arteaga drove in a run, Adam Filmon drove in two, and Julian Johnson went 3-for-4.

Dan Marra scored Toronto's lone run in the top of the ninth as the Leafs had just five hits overall. Marek Deska (3-1) went five innings, allowing five runs on 12 hits with two walks and three strikeouts.
