Salem Tigers infielder Joins Majors

LONDON - The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of infielder Brett Graham.

Playing with the Salem Tigers, the Burlington native had an effective college with 100 hits and 56 RBIs over his 4 seasons. Graham is a versatile player that can play all infield positions. The Salem Tigers now have two players on the Majors as the newcomer, Graham will be joining Majors’ AP pitcher Jaryd Lund.

When asked about what his university teammate has told him about being a Major the 6’, 190lbs praised the London fans at Labatt Park “Lund has told me that Majors home games are a really fun time. I saw a game in London and the atmosphere was amazing. I know there is a great winning culture in London and I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to this team's success.”

The newcomer brings a lot to the Majors and manager Roop Chanderdat voiced his thoughts regarding Graham “Brett’s versatility and experience he gained from 4 years at a US College will make him a good addition to our team.  He is a hardworking player that wants to get better.”

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021 the London Majors won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world. The league was established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
