Royals use a huge fourth to defeat Red Sox

The Guelph Royals batted around the order in the fourth inning, scoring seven times en route to a, 8-4 win over the Brantford Red Sox Tuesday during Intercounty Baseball League action at David E. Hastings Stadium.

Down 2-0, the big fourth inning started with a Justin Interisano solo home run. J.D. Williams, Conner Morro, Josh Garton, and Malik Collymore all had RBI doubles. Josh Garton’s RBI single in the eighth inning sealed the deal.

Christian Kuzemka had a double, triple and an RBI to lead the Red Sox offence.

Yuki Narita threw seven great innings, striking out seven to get the win. Isaiah Ramos took the loss.

The Royals, now 9-16 visit the Red Sox (4-23) on Friday at 8 p.m.
